Rabindranath Tagore endeavored to keep his lyric and note unblemished to fortify his songs. This article studied few of those songs and unfolded the pattern of distractions of the meaning. It demonstrated that singer- dependence to inevitably reflect the art of Tagor Songs, punctuation-interrupted notes, imperative pitches of the notes, reiteration of words, Tagore’s inclination to allegory of the familiar words could impede the desired meaningfulness of Tagore Songs. The refraction of meaning could also lead to a different possibility that Rabindranath would not desire.
